Look: Details Have Emerged From Stetson Bennett's Arrest

Last month, Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett was arrested in Dallas on a public intoxication charge. The police incident report was released to the Athens Banner-Herald this Tuesday.

Bennett was found walking around a gated area. He apparently was observed "walking further back in the gated area to hide behind a brick wall by a random apartment) in attempt to possibly avoid the arresting officers detection."

Dallas Police responded to reports of Bennett banging on doors.

From the Athens Banner-Herald:

According to the report, the officers announced themselves multiple times as Dallas police and called for Bennett to come from behind the wall with his hands visible. He complied and was placed in handcuffs due to Bennett attempting to hide from the officers.

Bennett identified himself and was unable to call his friend who police said he claimed lived at the location. He was unable to provide his friend’s address. Bennett did not have a cell phone on himself to call his friend, the report said.

Bennett was in Dallas to train for the NFL Combine. It's unclear if this incident will affect his draft stock.

We'd imagine teams will have plenty of questions for Bennett this week in Indianapolis.

Bennett finished his Georgia career with 8,429 passing yards and 66 touchdowns. More importantly, he won two national championships.
