Paris Saint-Germain right-back Achraf Hakimi is being investigated by French prosecutors over an alleged rape.
A judicial official has confirmed to the Associated Press that an investigation in the Paris suburbs is being fronted by the prosecutor's office.
A report from the AFP claims that a 24-year-old woman has accused Hakimi of raping her on Saturday at his home in the Paris suburbs. Further reporting from Les Parisien says that the woman reported the incident to the police but has not filed charges.
PSG have declined to comment on these reports, while Hakimi - who was in downtown Paris for FIFA's The Best awards ceremony on Monday night - has yet to publicly comment on the allegations.
Hakimi was absent from PSG's win at Marseille in Le Classique on Sunday night due to a muscle injury.
He has played 31 games in all competitions for the French champions this season either side of Morocco's run to the 2022 FIFA World Cup semi-finals.
